VoCare Grandma & Cookies Informational Video

VoCare is a new client that we have been working with for a while in conjunction with our work for Waldo Health. They are based out of Indianapolis and are focused on bringing a robust and comprehensive suite of easy-to-use yet affordable and effective telehealth products and services to the senior community that would like to remain active and in their own homes.

Our initial direction with the client were based around doing a simple short video product overview, but as we got deeper into our discussions we realized as a group that getting a positive message that connected to the real lives of the target market was more important than a dry list of product specifications. Not that dry lists of product specifications don't have their place.

The first script we delivered was a bit more stark, since it started after a preventable accident in which the mother was hurt in a fall. That didn't feel quite right to us, since we don't believe that scaring people into using these products is the right approach. This second script, we felt, had a much softer and more positive introduction to the products as well as a much more relateable family dynamic.

We are pretty happy with the outcome on this one since we were on a tight budget and a tighter schedule (one shooting day). We also did the 3d modeling and product animation all in house.

This is the first of several videos that will use the assets created for this longer piece. We will use the footage and animation from this video to put together some shorter product specific vignettes and for other marketing purposes.
